The Plot
Bridgerton Season 3 plot summary
In Season 3, Penelope enters with a determination to move on from her longstanding crush on Colin and pursue marriage. However, her lack of confidence leads to disastrous attempts in the marriage market. Meanwhile, Colin returns with newfound confidence and charm, but he’s dismayed by Penelope’s apparent indifference towards him. Seeking to rekindle their friendship, Colin offers to help Penelope boost her confidence to find a husband. However, as his efforts succeed, Colin grapples with the realization that his feelings for Penelope may be more than platonic. Adding to Penelope’s challenges is her strained relationship with Eloise and the increasing difficulty of maintaining her secret identity as Lady Whistledown amidst her growing presence in society.
